Draw Chart Lines

You can draw chart lines on the detailed chart in landscape orientation (see Charts - Landscape Orientation for more information). You can draw one or two trendlines or snapping trendlines onto the chart.

Add Trendline

  1. With the detailed chart in landscape orientation, tap the [Action Overflow] button on the Android action bar. From the secondary menu that appears at the bottom of the chart, tap Tools.
  2. Tap Lines from the pop-up menu followed by tapping Add Trend Line #1.
  3. On the chart, tap the point where you want the trend line to start then swipe your finger to the point where you want the trendline to end. The trendline is drawn dynamically and follows your finger movements.
  4. You can reposition the trendline by touching one of the end points then swiping your finger to the desired location.
  5. Repeat steps 1 - 4 to draw the second trendline if required.

Add Snapping Trendline

  1. With the detailed chart in landscape orientation, tap the [Action Overflow] button on the Android action bar. From the secondary menu that appears at the bottom of the chart, tap Tools.
  2. Tap Lines from the pop-up menu followed by tapping Add Snapping Trend Line #1.
  3. On the chart, tap the point where you want the snapping trend line to start then swipe your finger to the point where you want the trendline to end. The two trendline end points automatically attach themselves to the closest (Open, High, Low, Close) of the chart data point it is next to.
  4. You can reposition the snapping trendline by touching one of the end points then swiping your finger to the desired location.
  5. Repeat Steps 1 - 4 to draw the second snapping trendline if required.
